HR Generalist

Our client, a renowned global leader in the fragrance manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated full-time HR Generalist to join their dynamic and inclusive team in FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of human resources plans and procedures across the organization.
  • Develop, present, and train employees on company policies to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws across all company locations.
  • Recommend training opportunities for employees in collaboration with managers.
  • Oversee and manage the entire onboarding process for new hires.
  • Create and distribute the company’s Employee Newsletter.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to update job descriptions as needed.
  • Assist in managing performance evaluation processes, including 60, 90, and 180-day reviews, annual evaluations, and 360-degree feedback.
  • Conduct salary surveys and compensation analysis.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks, ensuring proper communication and training.
  • Administer employee benefits, resolve claims, and make improvement recommendations.
  • Manage worker’s compensation investigations and ensure proper reporting.
  • Handle recruitment for all staff and temporary roles, including career planning, employee relations, and exit processes, while making hiring recommendations.
  • Create and place job advertisements to optimize recruitment outcomes.
  • Maintain HR records and participate in administrative and safety meetings as necessary.
  • Plan and implement employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives.
  • Review payroll hours for compliance with FLSA regulations.
  • Coordinate and execute various employee-focused events and activities.
  • Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with at least five years of related experience; or a master’s degree with a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is essential.
