Flavor Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

The Account Executive will primarily be responsible for promoting flavor applications for food and beverages to existing and target accounts, primarily in the South East and East Coast regions.

  • Manage current business while hunting new business based on consumer innovation and flavor technology advancements with the company.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams (technical, regulatory, customer service, marketing) to advance overall business and customer projects and opportunities.
  • Manage territory and customer relations using CRM.
  • Develop strategic relationships with decision makers across several departments including Purchasing, Research and Product Development, and Innovation/Brand teams in order to build and maintain total flavor business within total customer base.
  • Attend national tradeshows to build client base and develop new leads..
  • Negotiate terms with consumers by price & volume.
  • Monitor emerging products and developments to find potential opportunities for business within targeted clients.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience with food ingredients or flavors.
  • Experience with collaborations with R&D for team-based sales projects.
  • MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time is preferred.
